P5 emblem

I had always thought that the protege was a wussy car until my wife told me to take it on a test drive. I love my 2003 p5 and want to make sure people know that it isn't a wussy little car. I want to replace my protege 5 emblem that is on the hatch with a p5 emblem. Know where I can find one?

i don't think there's a P5 emblem. it won't be big enough to fith the two holes now occupied by PROTEGE5

Hmm.... interesting. It would be a first I think. Not saying that wouldn't be cool... but how is it going to make the p5 seem like less of "a wussy car"? I'm not making the connection here. Anyways, if there is a just straight up P5 badge, I've never seen or heard of one. Your best bet would be to find someone who has taken their protege5 badge off and either replaced it with jdm famila badge, or just shaved there badges. Then take it and get creative... cut out the *rotege* and add P + 5 = P5 That would be my best guess.

My X-girlfriend said my car is fast (this with a sister and a brother in law with new BMWs). I don't think most people say our car's are wussy, I'm sure in these forums we say that because we know that they arn't fast.

the only thing that closely meets your description is the MP5 stickers that you can get from Mitch at Protege5Online.com

I think it might be cool if you got a custom made p5 badge wide enough to fill the two holes. Obviously it would be a lot taller than the stock Protege5 badge though.

I'm gonna photoshop it to see how it would look.

Okay here it is. I know its a very bad photoshop and my car is very dirty. But it still looks retarted. A P5 that big on the back of a car would look dumb.

never heard of a wuss car that can take a yellow posted 25mph turn at 60

To that my friend, I respond "Amen."

I used to have a BMW 318ti. The one thing that set it apart from all the other Hondas and Acura is when I take an off ramp, I don't have to slow down. It was slow in a straight line, but I had so much fun in the twisty's, who cares? I guess that is why I fell in love with the P5.
Besides, its always fun to see a tail-gating car fall REALLY far behind after a sharp turn. (hah)

I used to have an rx-7. so to me almost everything was slow. But when I got my p5, it was faster than I expected. I especially love how it handles. I scared my wife my taking a 90 degree turn at 45 mph. I used to take my altima at 27-28 and make the car slide. I love the control the p5 has and am looking forward to making it faster. As for saying wussy. I was forced to take back my thinking of the p5 as wussy when I first test drove it. Dont' worry, I thought it was, but now that I have one, I don't

Wussy....well next to the M5 that raced me this morning yes. I swear I felt like I was on rollerskates next to that thing. I lost sight of it within 15 seconds. Anyways, I like the thought of having a nice little P5 badge on my car, but at the same time I have seen very few shaved emblems, but the ones I have seen look REALLY GOOD! But let me know if you find a really good one.

THIS IS SO RIGHT!!!!!

nothing says wussy like 'protege5' (dunno)

maybe you should get a 'P5-R' badge, if it will make you feel more 'manly'

I think this is what you want. I put this on my car last year. Covers up both holes. Used dental floss to loosen up the adhesive on a warm day.
