P5 Corksport Exhaust

does anyone have a P5 corksport exhaust, and accidently recvd the MSP rear section? I traded my P5 and got an MSP and the P5 muffler is too short, thus melting my rear lip. So if anyone has a MSP CS rear section and they need a P5 rear section, PM me.

the rear sections are exactly the same piece. the only difference is the exhaust hanger location. You could probably take the axel-back portion and have a muffler shop remove and re-weld the hangers.

no, theres about a 3 inch longer section right before the can on the sedan version. Amy had hers off today and we placed them side by side.

But that is my other option(muffler shop).

I have an MSP rear section that Corksport expect me to return on my expense....no way happening when they sent me the wrong section.....POst pics..if this section will fit my P5 I will trade you the MSP .....

the only reason why i say they're the same is I ordered 2 exhausts from CS, both the P5 and sedan versions. When they got to my house, i couldn't tell them apart. I called CS and they said the one with the bent exhuast hanger is the one for the P5.

if you look just to the right of the can, that little section is longer on the sedan model. its actually kind of hard to notice.

I thought the exact same thing....I got it on the GB and they sent me the MSP rear section I called them and they told me they sent the wrong one .....I got the p5 rear section and guess what it was it was a couple of different located hangers on the same rear section....hahahaha...

hahahaha....I was seriously pissed when I couldnt get it to sit right.....they said they sent me the correct rear section....so now I have 2 msp rear section....I put back on my HKS rear section...I kept it there so that I could take pics and send it to Corksport...

Mines fine
not really any problems, once I get headers and intake I know I'll need to get the silencer but other than that its good.

Fitment could be a little better (leans to the left) but its not dmg'ing anything

I will attest to how funny shanes looks. I put the CS on my car Saturday and it fit fine with the tip being right at the edge of the lip. Shane did have to bend the hangers a little more for me b.c in the day it was on the car it started to melt my lip to, but its ok now.. Thanks

Got your PM ...If it is definately shorter than the MSP rear section then YES.....I dont know some say that it's o.k for there P5 but you can see the difference on mine....and I see the difference on yours...
