P5 Cloth Interior?

I have a 2003 P5 with black cloth interior. I park outside all day, but I do have tinted windows, but I have notice a slight fade in my black cloth, it kind of takes on a purplish black color???? :wtf: Is this a Mazda thing? Does anyone else have this problem? It's kinda pissing me off. :mad:

mine is always outside and no fade.
the fabric does look purple through my sunglasses though.
it confused me for a while b4 i fugured it out (hand)

Ya...whenever i have my sunglasses on, the flat black parts all have a purple tint to them! Even the door panels...

My shoes also have a purple look to them..

It's the shade of black that causes this...

It might be all in your head, My new P5 that i've only had 3 weeks looks like the interior is faded. But I really doubt this could happen in 3 weeks with only like 800 miles on the car. It's just was never a really Black dark Black to even begin with though.

same thing here it just looks like that cz u rest ur arm on it while u drive!!!
i dont know many people that drive with both hands 2003!!!!

it looks purple in the same way some people with dyed black hair look like their hair is blue in the sun, but its not.

it also looks purplish in pictures....weird.

leather always looks black black tho =D

It is also becuase of the faux suede like material it is made of...It is like carpet...if you move your hand across it one way and then back it changes the way the light hits it, making it appear a different shade...
