im getting misfire code.... according to my mods(intake, inlet,BOV,catless dp/rp). what r the best plug to suit my need?? should i go for step colder? if do so what range to gap at??? any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
I think that most people would say get a tune, correct me if i'm wrong, and you generally don't want to run colder plugs without a tune. As for plugs, i've heard good things about the Denso Iridium ITV-22's.
so no step colder needed without a tune....im really tight on money. i dont think i would need tune in couple months, so denso is the best?? also what range to gap at?? 0.030???
I'm getting a 301 also. When I asked around they said to pull the wire off the coil and see if there is a spark. For me there is no spark. That means that the coil or computer just does not want to produce any spark. So why? I ran into some water the other day and this started. SO I have read some others and they say they replaced the coil and still no spark. Now I do not want to spend 65.00 for a coil on my 2001 MPV when the computer turns off cylinder 1 at 90,000 mil which also just happened on the same day. Make you go to the dealer maybe? Anyway How does the computer get reset to check if it is a mileage thing at 90,000.
