2013 Mazda CX-5 (GS-Black)
I bought my CX-5 back in April 2012. And I couldn't be happier.

I have over 22K KM on my car now... and the drive feels just as new as from the start.
Fuel economy has stayed the same ... I do mostly city driving and it's giving me about 8.2L per 100KM... (approx 28MPG).
I've done 2 oil changes - obviously - synthetic. Even though the dealer told me I could wait until 10000KM... I did it every 8K KM.

In the beginning when I was test driving this vehicle I thought it was under-powered... but now in my everyday driving I don't feel it's underpowered at all. It's just right; given the fuel economy. The engine has broken-in and I have trained it to my style of driving... which is stepping on it every so often. When I use sport shift... I easily take it to over 5000RPM every gear... I usually don't make it past the 4th gear... since I'm at 120KM/hr on the 3rd gear at 5000RPM.

I'm glad I bought the car!!! Wouldn't change it for the 2.5 or any other CUV.

Probably I'm thinking in the next year or two of getting another car... and the new Mazda 6 looks mighty nice as well. Mazda heading in the right direction!

Any questions? I'll happily answer.

11.9K miles today on mine, purchased in mid-March 2012. Power level is what I expected given best in class fuel economy, the modern 6 speed auto tranny helps extract the most from modest power. Quality/relability has been well above average. For me I don't need the higher powered/higher priced versions of CX-5, I have 2 other whips the are considerably quicker than any future versions of CX-5.

btw-The 2 of you ^ have some pretty impressive mileage numbers accumulated so far.

yes, it is actually somewhat depressing when I stop and think about it and knowing I was going to put so many on it was one thing that made me hesitate about buying a 'nicer' vehicle like the CX5. Knowing the depreciation a new car takes, especially with this kind of miles, it was had to do but I'm glad I did.
At over 16,000 miles it is still far more solid than a lot of the brand new cars we test drove.

I know what you mean, I'm trying to keep my average annual mileage on CX-5 down to 15K, by using other car on weekends.

I try to keep my miles down by driving my Z for the commute on days when it isn't raining or too hot.

but then we end up driving a million places on the weekend in the CX5

Have had mine 5 months this week and have done nearly 12,300 miles, got it booked in for first service on Friday!

Supurb example of Z, is that a '72? My weekender is a LexIS350 (lightly F-sport-modded)

Hey HandA I bought all my Honda Fit and Honda Element accessories from you guys. Very reasonable prices and super fast shipping. Are you selling Mazda now too?

I just checked and indeed you are selling Mazda accessories now. You are also cheaper than mazdagear.com and mazdaparts.org. Awesome, now shut up and take my money!

As a Mazda owner trapped at a Honda only dealer for the last 12 years it is fun to be selling Mazda stuff now that we are part of a local auto group.

Are you all planning on expanding the selection of CX-5 parts? You guys are winning on prices on some things but those other sites got ya on selection.

Sweeeet! Those are classics. I enjoy a 1972 Chevrolet C-10, originally purchased new by my great uncle on the weekends. Can't drive that thing during the week man. 10 MPG doesn't cut it. haha!

Some of you guys are driving alot. My wife is stacking miles on her CX-5 too. Bought March 10th, now has 13,500 miles. Been amazing. Would recommend one to anybody.
