Our New Cars! Mazda 6S Sedan and Wagon

a. sits so high up
(Lower the seat :))

b. I cant feel AT ALL what the car is doing (big gripe)
(This is due to the utter bad Mich Pilot's. The sooner you get rid of the stock tires, the sooner you'll enjoy the car to its fullest)

c. Tons of body roll
(It is a "family sedan". Racing beat sways fix this in an instant.)

d. Dead spot of power band at about 3k even if I am Full on the gas
(Tons of mods to address the power...cars with intakes/headers are pushing 200-220+ to the wheels) vs 175 whp stock (MTX) or 155 whp stock (ATX).

Ya I always have the same nick (crossbow), and try to mirror the avatars on the various forums.

The racing beat front also impacts your turn-in. It helps turn it from a bit of a sluggish land yacht to a more direct "dive-in" feel.

lower the car some and it will make a good difference my g/f doesnt like driving my car because she says its to stiff and she doesnt like how she feels the road so much it will also get rid of a lot of body roll.

to fix your power problem pick up the cp-e intake and get that car to around 200whp

I heard this was a good one to go with because it includes the chip and intake, and dosent throw a Cel. It's pretty expensive right? I might be going with the Injen though... Geeze I just realized something... all the parts for the 6 are alot more expensive then MSP parts.. even though i didnt have to pay for any of my MSP parts...

Double wishbone in action with eibach springs (BLECH!) and racing beat sways.

I'd have to say that these + a decent intake eliminate A, B, C, and D off the list.

What I will say is that coming out of turns, even in third gear while in the power band, the car just doesn't have enough grunt. I definatly need more torque.

Woaah! Didn't see that coming Steph...Congrats!...Sweet ride and color! (cool)

What was the main reason that inspired you to trade in your classic MSP and get the 6?

How are the payments on the 6?
