This forum has nothing on cats compared to forums like Evoutionm.net, they have threads every week devoted to "caturday" pics. They are usually pretty funny but its a lot worse there.

I grew up with both cats and dogs in the house... now I have two cats of my own. They're easier to take care of, better on their own and if you train them right as kittens, they don't have to be clawing the s*** out of everything. Mine have all claws and only use the scratching post. Dogs are cool but too much work

LOL I guess owning a cat is like driving an auto verses driving a stick and owning a dog?

I, unfortunately, was not part of the "kitten life" of our two cats. I will blame their upbringing on my husband.

i don't know about the whole cleaner thing....i have 2 big dogs and once in a great while one might puke in the house when sick but they are very easy going and chill most times....and the house doesn't smell or anything....as opposed to several friends i know who keep inside cats and the house stinks(i'm sure that is about 60% my friends fault though)

stalker....i'm reporting you....i had a bad child experience with a cat....sliced open my leg then the baby sitter poured alcohal on the open cut....(cryhard)


i like my big dogs...... and don't worry i can't really stand small dogs either, mine is a pit/boxer mutt about 70lbs and my sis' dog is a german shep/black lab around 70 lbs

I grew up with dogs and hated cats. Then I got married at 24 and actually lived with my wife's cat and he changed my whole outlook.

I thought cats hated people and acted like assholes all the time. But ours have always acted more like dogs following you around and wanting to be in your lap and whatnot.
