I edited this post to reflect new pricing.

Well I stumbled across this website the other day:
http://www.sfxperformance.com/
And realized they were a Unichip programmer/retailer. I also noticed they sold the MSP Unichip for $713.20!!! (with free shipping). I called Unichip and verified the part number they were selling to be the full MSP PnP kit with EBC.
I also called SFX :
The first woman I talked to was really friendly and actually informative. We chatted a bit while she was waiting for another guy to get off the phone. She mentioned wanting Unichip for her car but they did not make one. Anyway, friendly people with fun southern accents...lol.

So the guy gets on the phone and explains it is the full PnP with EBC, and talks a bit about Unichip technology and explains some things to me. He was also very informative. I then told him I was going to put an order in through the website, and he said "well before you do that and get charged... let me check stock for you to make sure we can get one out to you asap". I thought that was cool, some sites just grab your $ then ship it whenever they get it in stock. As luck would have it they only had 1 left. He seemed like an honest guy, I don't think he just made that up so I would buy one... He said the low pricing was to push their new Unichip line and gain new customers.

When I put my address in, I screwed up (just moved). I got an emial like 1 hour after the order explaining there was an error. I called customer service (same guy I talked to earlier) and he called my card company right away to verify the correct address I had given him. He put the order through right away so he could get working on the chip.

In the order I noted my mods in one of the comment boxes. I got an email the next day saying they were going to modify the MSP chip to accomodate my large intercooler and exhaust.

Anyway this is the start of my full review and install (as if this was not enough to read)! Just wanted to share a great price and good company, SO far. I would wait for my full review until you just jump in and order one.

excellent find. we will be awaiting your review. I dont think this forum has a real detailed one of it.

I laugh when I see these prices of Unichip for like 800- $900.
A place down here sells it for that same price too. Like $670.

Wow, they are in my city. Never heard of them though. I will go check them out.

those wheels are hot but the fake 2piece look on the D2 does not.

its all about looks to me. make fun of the 'fake' 2-piece, but I am not trying to fake anything, just tyring to look good. I would love them if they did not have the bullets as well.

Unichip burned for my mods - boxed - and shipped today. I just got the tracking number.

how do they account for your mods without actually doing a dyno for your car?

from what I know they look at the flow characteristics of the turbo, the flow characteristics of the exhaust (based on cross sectional area), and they factor in slighty colder air due to the intercooler.

I love it...I got into a war with a certain Vendor to remain nameless, on this forum who repeatedly and continues to promote himself as the ONLY place that the MSP unichip can be purchased. And then charging $750 or so as a 'sale' price.

Vendors should be just as accountable for scamming as anyone else in these forums. I'm happy that you got your unichip at a better price. I can't wait till I get mine.
