Optima Battery

Does anyone know which Yellow top battery will fit in the MP3? I know that the WW kit MP3 has a Yellow top Optima Battery. Any light shined on this topic would be great!!

There's only one size Optima battery. They all use the same case. They're a little shorter than the stock battery, so need to space them up a little higher. But they'll fit.

im thinking of getting the red top from optima. i dunno if ne1 has one in their ride yet on here though.

Yeah, I have a yellow top in mine. Had to put a wood block under to space it up so the bracket would actually hold. Sorry, no pics.

Thanks!!! How thick was that piece of wood...I get the battery tomorrow because they sent me the one with the top post and i wanted top and side post. Thanks!!

NO SIDE POST You can't use them, they sit against the shock tower. You can't turn the battery around to expose them, either, because then the top posts will be backward. Damn, I hope you read this before you send it back.

I think it was up about 3/4 in, but I'm not sure. Just space it up until the bracket sits on it right.

well that kinda sucks....im glad you pointed it out though....Im going to keep the double post...it is the same measurements, I am going to flip it around. The positive will reach, i will just have to get the ground extended...If anything i will put it in the factory way and just use the top post. I Just figured since i had gotten the stinger access. to put my power wire and stuff on get the double post to fit it all. Im just going to have a big clutter **** on my battery...
