Opinions on intakes Pros and Cons

Intakes, hey all I would like to know if anyone does not have an intake i.e. they have filter driectly on turbo. With MAF relocation would this be a bad thing? What is the best affordable intake set up out there. i just think 200+ for an intake is retarded. One 3 foot aluminum pipe does not cost more than 50$ and even one of the best filters is around 50$ these prices i have been seeing are insane. Anyone have some mput for me... As i belive my stock intake has a HUGE leak somewhere in it.

Filter right on the turbo would suck nothing but hot air from around the turbo and exhaust mani, being mucho bad times. Look around for a used CAI or SRI, they show up on the F/S boards all the time. ~100-120 is the going rate.
