Opinions on Eyelids, Please.

Hey guys... I got my eyelids painted and put them on the car (no tape yet). I wanted to get your opinions.

looks pretty clean...

I was never much of a fan of eyelids though...mostly because of the extra lines they put between the hood and headlights...I prefer the the b-hoods a lot of VW guys create, in which the hood actually comes down over the headlights a little...doesn't work without specific headlights for it...

but that definately doesn't look bad, and it looks like the paint matched up pretty well...

ONe thing i hate about having eyelids is that the beam for the headlights had to be adjusted again.

I like it, But I've never liked eyelids on the protege that come over past the hood.... like you have the hood line coming down into the headlight, and then the eyelid carrying over. I have the "old style" eyelids that follow the lines from the hood... IMO they look way better. Just my taste tho...

I like what you did with it, but I've never like eyelids personally. But you did a nice job on yours that is for sure.

looks good..not sure it would look good on mine...ya know i kinda like the 'clean look' (literally). ya know dave, it kinda makes the car look like it has down syndrome LOL....j/k looks good, as long as you like em, to hell with what everyone else thinks!!

I like it too! I have eyelids on mine as well, put a dg grill on the front and it looks really nice. A lot of people have to look twice at my car to tell what the hell it is. I actually put custom eyelids on my taillights cause a few people would tell me that the stock ones look like Hyundai Accent tails.
