for one didnt i say i was one of the first to put 18's on protege 5... one of the first... then on skunk 2 coilover that was the first coilovers they made for this car... trust me just probadly wanted a MP5 then asking your mom for one... in march 2003 i was showing protege 5 could be hot... texas heat wave got best mazda at spring bash got best mazda... but whatever

To the OP, when done typing, go through your post and delete everything that doen't make sense, which from what i've seen should be the whole thing, come with respect and you will be respected, don't call anyone out either, not good for a new member, Mazda lovers are always welcome but get your facts straight when thinking about calling anybody out.

I had chrome once... I love the two-tone paint. I was the first to have a 2003.5 spoiler on my 2nd gen and the first to convert my old candle emblem to a flying m for a 2nd gen. I also have a pug. My first..

the only chrome i have on my P5 now is the emblems which will be fixed soon enough...cant do anything about the chrome lip on my blacks rims, but i like em' that way, other then that chrome is icky
 
My chrome got effed up, corroded, no more eveR.

I think mickey had a similar set of chrome wheels and he got rid of them and bought some nice rx-8 wheels for his pro.

and no i paid EVERY cent for my car since it was brand new in February of 02. all i was trying to say is your p5 is not all that and a cup of tea like you think it is. and to reply to your PM you sent me, i'm not copying what everyone else has done, it just so happens that the best looking stylying options for our car is what mazda intended for them to have. not some gay ricer kit that you see on probes and civics. i think you are the ONLY one on here with that kit and their is reason, it's but ugly.

a tip, go and put your stock bumper back on and find a DG front lip and it would look 100 times better but good luck with your modifying

LOL, no, I'm just trying to be nicer to new members and other members in general (g/f told me I was an angry person and I'm trying to fix that) but this guy is beginning to try my new-found patience. BTW, I completely agree with what you said about the stock appearance.

So buddy, props to you for what you've done to the car; if you like it, then that's all that matters. With that being said, your car is in no way any more unique than the rest of us so don't attack members concerning they're individuality, besides there isn't much more that has not been done. If you don't believe me check cardomain - there are literally hundreds of P5s with the same or similar bad body kits and horrible (IMO) taillights. You are not the first and only Protege with 20" wheels as just the other day there was another post in the 3rd Gen section from a guy with 20" wheels on his sedan. Don't come here bashing members thinking you're the greatest thing and especially concerning ownership. So you bought your P5 new in 2003, big deal - most of the members here bought there cars, some new, some used (like myself). This isn't Honda Tech, there aren't a lot of 16 year-old kids hanging around talking garbage - this is a highly performance-orientated community and when you come here bashing the car and it's performance I can't see why you're shocked that you got attacked.

I also second or third (can't remember) the grammar motion - I don't understant half of your posts.

i've got some pretty aweful taste, so it usually nice to see others as well.
 
Oh man, 1998? I remember those days very well. Here's showing my age. I had one of those BF Goodrich posters with the sparkle Integra and Daytons on my college wall.
