Spicy Orange Msp
Just wondering if you guy knew if this was true or not... when i bought my orange msp the sales man said that only 250 of them were in orange and the rest were black for the 2003 series

haha ofcourse i new that...i was just stating the color factor...how only 250 of them were made orange

i think in canada, 250 orange, thats all they get..no black

in US, ~600 orange, rest black.

Canada - 2003 MAZDASPEED Protege only comes in Orange 250 made.
2003.5 - 325 yellow and 325 titanium grey

USA - 2003 MAZDASPEED Protege comes in both 600 Orange, 1150 Black.

How many Yellow's and Grey's is the states getting?

Your numbers are off on the 2003.5. Here's the breakdown for both 2003 and 2003.5 MAZDASPEED Proteges:

2003:
2000 total
1150 Black (U.S.A. only)
600 Spicy Orange (U.S.A.)
250 Spicy Orange (Canada)

2003.5:
2500 total
875 Blazing Yellow Metallic (U.S.A.)
875 Titanium Metallic (U.S.A.)
375 Blazing Yellow Metallic (Canada)
375 Titanium Metallic (Canada)

dOOd's for enough money they'll certainly make any number of cars.

It's called BUSINESS.

Orange MSP owner

Sounds good, but that was also said about:

Ford's early SVT cars
the Z06 Corvette
the first year run of ACR Neon's
the first run of Porsche's SUV
the SRT-4

can one person call and say make me car 601, probably not. BUT if enough dealers call and order cars they will make more.

In our case it's called the 2003.5 model and they've already made them.

I believe the numbers, but my dealer had 3 black ones at one point and I go up there today and I saw 4 orange ones. I wouldn't consider my dealer very big either...

Mazda doesn't do that. All their limited cars (many Miatas over the years, as well as the Protege MP3) have stuck to their announced numbers. When they're gone, they're gone.
