Only $1,200,000.00! What a steal!

what a waste of money...the damn thing has an AUTOMATIC!!!! now what kind of fun could THAT car be with a stinkin automatic!! the engineer that decided to put an automatic in that car should be taken out and hung by his private parts.

I'll take two please! :)

Hmmmm as far as the automatic....not exactly sure but if it's an F-1 type car, doesn't that mean it's got those paddle shifter automatics? I know that they have those in F1 race cars for shifting but now I'm not so sure. Regardless, that's still gonna be one hell of a car even if it was a normal automatic.

That's actually about right for the McLaren F1. It is NOT an automatic though, it was misprinted or something.
They sell for 1mil new. There are VERY FEW of them around, and come with lifetime support from McLaren. I've seen a couple shows on it on Discovery and such. Very sweet ride. If I'm remembering right, it has something like 650hp. It also has center driver seating with 2 seats up and behind the driver.
If I were Billy G. I'd definitely drop the cash for a ride like that, but since I'm not a software enterprise bazillionaire yet, I'll just drive my MP3> :)

Something is fishy...

The guy has no sales history and want's to auction a 1.2 million dollar car. I think the DuPont registry is more appropriate. I doubt people looking for this calibre of car is browsing eBay for it. They'll probably go straight to the manufacturer or a broker. The McLaren is said to be in Europe, the Mercedes photos look like they were taken from a car show somewhere and the Ferrari has UK plates on it even though the ad says it is a US car. Sounds like a con to me...
