On my way to work...

2013 CX-9
I drive by hundreds of cars on my way to work on Rt. 9 Framingham, MA but about twice a week I see this single midnight blue MP5. It sticks out like a cherry red sports car in a bumper to bumper highway full of commuter cars. Its the only other MP5 I see on my way to work.

Is it just cause I own one that I notice it or is the MP5 that nice of a car that most people notice his as well as my Laser Blue one on their way to work?

Anyway, just wanted to say that its the highlight of my morning commute when I see another MP5.

Oh, and btw. I love my Protege!

I always see this one Blue P5 on the way home. Plus a Red and Silver, a few blacks. LOL I see quite alot.

do you get looks from other people with your laser blue mp5? I sure do...

Yeah,

My girlfriend was getting freaked out about it. We were in the city (boston) picking up groceries and when I pulled up to park this guy watched the car from the time I backed into the spot until we entered the store. My GF was like, i don't like the way that guy was looking at your car. I said, get used to it, its a nice looking car. I'd be looking at it if it wasn't mine.

Heck, I don't need an MSP/MP3 to get looks - when I first got my P5, you won't believe how many ricers slowed down and gave me a good lookover before they sped on their way on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in NY/NJ.

BTW, anybody own a yellow MP3 around Nyack, NY in Rockland - I've seen the same one several times going the other way on 9W, probably on his commute as well. SWEEEET. Wish I had a horn that sang "Zoom Zoom Zoom" to greet 'im!

i drive 20 miles on the highway everyday and i never see any other p5's. just mine......all by its lonesome........surrounded by a bunch of ugly cars.

I bought my MP5 on Jan 18 and since then I've only seen 3 others. 1 was driven by a blue hair and another was on a long road trip no where near my house so I guess that doesn't count. I did see a yellow one in Anaheim on St. College a few weeks back. It looked bagged and If i'm not mistaken some type of yellow mirrored tint, which I thought was illegal here. It could of been a reflection from the sun plus we were going opposite directions at a pretty good speed. It would be cool to actually meet someone while driving. I almost feel lonely out there sometimes. :D

Did I say lonely? Let me rephrase that. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who owns one in OC Calif.

But you can't deny the good feeling when you're being checked out. Damn that makes me feel good.

of course, the day after i said i dont see any on the way to work, i saw a silver p5. they flashed their lights at me. so if anyone here was driving a silver p5 on green bay rd. in kenosha and flashed a white p5. it was me.

Hey, I drive in Worcester M-F in a Blue 2003 with polished rims... But not on rt9.

i've had my p5 for a year and a half and for the first 6 months i saw only two other p5's! in the last year i've seen maybe 5 others on the road. i travel about 100 miles a day (south shore to waltham/watertown area) last week i saw my first mp3! i still get asked, "what kinda of car is that", "that's a great lookin car".

There were TWO Vivid Yellow Mp5s on my way to work like 3 cars ahead of me ... so you know i was romping the s*** out of mine to get up there with them and one was driven by a black woman and the other wsa some white guy and they both beeped at me wheni blew by them in my black mica WOOHOO for knoxville

i always flash other P5 owners, i dont see that many either! people do look at my car and like it!

one kid i raced didnt even know what it was that kicked his ass!

the are uber sharp looking cars, and i am damn proud i own one. i always get excited when i see another one!

Saw a Blue MP3 on Route 9 in Framingham, MA this morning. Never seen it before. He/she must have been late or early for work.

hey chris, how are the roads out your way? i was thinking of putting my summer rims and tires back on tomorrow, but the roads around my neck of the woods are just filled with pot holes! i might hold off until they get repaired. joe

I'm still dodging pot holes here and there. You're right, Boston was a mess this weekend. Some of the ones I saw on Sturrow Dr. could have been classified as craters.

Most of the main roads have been taken care of but if it snows again the plows will just hollow them out and leave gravel all over the road.

I'd say wait a week or two.

I get alot of looks too. ecspeacilly by guys. ricers pull up next to me and want to race. I say okay lets go. I win everytime. honestly I do. :D

I was driving through Tempe yesterday and drove by a younger girl (Looked like Tara reid (naughty) ) in a blue PR5. I did a friendly wave and she looked at me like I was crazy. Sad... :(

I see quite a few PR5's here. Young and old... guys and girls...
