Why did you think you didn't have to turn in a note/excuse? Why would you or your mother think a phone from a *student* is all that was needed?

Stop dicking around with the school and go over their heads. If your excuse is really as good as you say it is and you can provide records, talk to the DMV directly or the school board. It's already obvious the school isn't going to do anything for you.RADatFBHS said:

Man I'm soooooo glad I had cool teachers my senior year. Was basically show up and leave when you want kind of deal. I think my second semester of my senior year I missed more first period than I showed up for. Funny thing is I learned more that year than any previous HS year too... Needless to say if I was in that situation I would have been in bad shape.

Some thoughts
a) this sounds like a completely dumbass law bound to screw over as many good students as bad students... obviously just a way for politicians to jerk themselves off. WOW... welcome to Georgia. my parents' congressional district elected wnderidiot Non-Sentient McKinney. frankly, I don't give **** if the 16-year old kid behind the wheel "kicks it" at skool or not. just that he/she can drive without killing me or someone in my family. pretty sure school doesn't make a difference in their driving skills either way. the fact that Georgia public schools are lecturing anyone on intelligence is a laughing stock. how many complete moron teachers did I have in public school. teachers that would NEVER be fired.
b) look, I'm a Miata owner and have always loved them-- but aren't you asking to get your vehicle keyed with a Miata in high school: a "nice" car.... AND a "gay" car. good luck. kids are cruel.
