Hello, I've been stalking these forums for a long time. I just never joined until now. Haha. A lot of the regulars here already know me from the "other" place. Anyhow, to introduce myself...

I was from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. (canada) But I currently reside in Panama in Central America. Here there are hardly any regulations regarding car modifications, I think. If there are any regulations then everyone here universally has a blatant disregard for the law.

My current rides are

2007 Toyota Fortuner SW4 AWD: 3.0L turbo intercooled diesel motor, it's a torque monster, great off-roading SUV

Snowfox aka 2007 Mazda CX-7 GT AWD: US-spec, mostly stock, except for vanity/convenience upgrades like tinted windows and upgraded speakers/amps, turbo timer, etc..

Yes, I named my car... most of my friends back in Canada gave names to their cars, I never did because back in Canada, I drove Toyotas. I wasn't particularly passionate about cars and all I really cared about was getting from point A to point B safely and comfortably.. that was until I was bit by the Mazda bug and got a "real" car. Haha. But I won't say Toyota is boring, after all, my Fortuner takes me into the rain forest and back under the worse conditions of flooding and mudslides. (shocked)

I will be doing upgrades in the future, but trying to avoid spending money.

Welcome Mikomi! Glad to see some other regulars coming to the dark side too! Lots of good information on the mazdaspeed vehicles that you can't get from the other site.

Woo! Another Edmontonian! Go Oilers!... oh. who am I kidding...

Anyway, that's quite an interesting stable you have, CX-7, Yaris Hatchback, and a Cayman S. Very diverse. I bet you that you would had gotten a Mazda2 had it been available, right? :3

I don't have a Cayman S yet, just have one of the new DFI '09's on order... I'm still debating on whether or not I actually will take delivery of it or just save my money and get a 1-2 year old Cayman S-- the used ones are not holding their value as well as I would have expected.

The Oilers need help, in a big way... haha

Yeah, I saw Caymans around for "dirt cheap" prices. Surprisingly cheap, relatively. Which I am surprised. Even a Toyota holds value better. Go figure. I think people prefer to own a fresh Porsche, don't like having a used one. I dunno. I personally prefer a new car over used, not because of the possible abuse, but I want new! :P Still, The Cayman S is nice. :)

Yeah. ever since I left Edmonton, Oilers have been in the basement.
