a 91 crx should be good, but i cant imagine someone your size fitting into that golf cart.

I would go with a RS coupe, since i've seen some for less than 7k

I fit just fine in a CRX. I've owned 4....

heavy pig... LOL

I know you said the market is kind of dry for miatas right now, but if I were looking to get into a car in that price range I'd seriously look into locating one. they have some serious potential. You can find high mileage early to mid 90's for around 3 grand. I'd rebuild the motor and overhaul the trans, and spend the remaining cash on engine, tranny, and susp. mods.

with some decent mods, I don't think you could ask for a roadster that is that much fun to drive within that price range.

None for sale around here....

Let me call my boy and see if he still has his, he was wanting 1000 and it runs great and no rust. He rebuilt the motor about 3k miles ago, if he has it, ill let you know.

I'm kinda liking the Chrysler Conquest the more I look at them....

I love the things, I checked autotrader this morning after i posted there and there are a few not terribly far from where we live. The Mitsubishi starion is the same car, only under the mitsubishi name. Im not sure why i hadn't thought of this earlier but what about a foxbody mustang? They can be had for less than the price you have listed.

So far, all the mustangs I've found in my price range are Ghetto-fabulous.... But a fox body is definitely on my short list...
