Ok, SOMEBODY give me a hint with these Spool springs ...

I'm waiting until I get the new set. I'll be damned if Im pulling these struts out anymore. Once I recieve the new springs, then I'll send back the old ones...

Whoever made the springs may need them back for some type of inventory reasons...I know at my work, even the stuff we throw away must be accounted for in one way or another.
Then again, maybe Terry wants them so he can throw each and every one of these springs through the windsheild of the guys car!! Look at all the heat Terry is taking because of this guy. It's okay Terry, we're trying to be patient...well, most of us:)

I too have emailed and sent him a pm and he has yet to get back to me. I dont understand, I thought Terry was on top of things as far as customer service.
 
Just to play Devil's Advocate -

He doesn't manufacture them, so he can't tell us for sure when the new ones will get to us, and they did just have the open house, so I'm sure he was pretty busy with that for the last little while.

Granted, I would like to get a reply from him. I'm hoping to just get a refund because I don't want to redo my suspension AGAIN ... If I can't get that, anyone know anyone who wants a set of Spool's at cost?

Guys, why don't you call him. Not everybody is on the computer at all times. He always has said the best way to get a hold of him is at the shop.

Yea, I have the bad rear springs too. Haven't installed my springs yet, but i'd like a set of replacements too. Real name is Ernie Cline
 
Ernie, if you weren't on the list, you probably need to call Terry. He hasn't gotten back to anyone or been reachable online in several weeks.

If you get ahold of Terry, see if you can get information about shipping the springs back. Remind him that he has yet to reply to members' PMs about getting their UPS account number. Remind him to check his email and respond to questions. See if you can find out about the new springs and when they're expected to be ready, if he's going to ship them or if they're going to come to us directly from the manufacturer.

wheee! good news (kinda)

good news: heard from Terry, and we don't have to ship the defective ones back (thank you!)

not quite as good news: it'll probably be mid-August before we actually get the springs

There is a new update, sorry its taking so long. I am expecting shipment of just the rear springs. These will replace your current rears and the front ones will still be utilized. You do not have to send back the defective rears....you can keep them. So sending back the originals is no longer necessary. I talked the manufacturer out of it since it would complicate things. I am expecting shipment of the new springs next friday. Once we get them in all of the rears will be sent out to those with defective ones.
