The reason everyone's sub is going out is becuz there blairin the sterio at 27-28 and its causing the voice coil to disconnect, if you go in the trunk pop off the screen and push up on the sub it starts to work. I agree this shouldn't be happenign but come on think about its... its a 8" sub lol.. its not gonna hold up like a 10 - 12.

Mine went out and I have never had my stereo above 23. Mostly I wouldn't put it above 20 to tell the truth. I have become a lightweight for noise since when I was pregnant with my daughter. I still don't feel that even with 27 or 28 it should go out like that. I, by all means, am not an audio authority, but I would think that it should blow first.

The sub is blwing up becuase of people turning the bass adjustemnt up when they should be using the NF level and for Mazda setting the amp gain to high.

They set it up wrong why shoudn't they replace it. Also they don't take the time to explain the differencebetweena bass adjustment and a NF level.

Oh yeah, and kenwood has a no return sub replacement policy. Basicly they just send a new one, they don't care what you do to the old one.
