That manual says to replace oil at 8000kms! that seems so long! i'm used to changing oil at 5000kms whats the scoop??

Do people here change their own oil?

I would do a change around 4000km the first time, take it to midas or something, to wash out the fragments. I am planning to do 8000km as suggested, 'cause I am very lazy. But, I am sure it it not a bad idea to do oil change more often than that.

Hey Lamb, i cruised in Richmond yesteday. DAmn there are so man P5s, its a like a P5 town ahah all those AzNs ahah (me being one myself lol) anyway, how long have u had your P5 and have u had any probs with it? how's your paint holding up?

8000kms in roughly 5000miles..

the conversion factor for km to miles is about 3/5.

Therefore,
4000km = 2400mi
5000km = 3000mi
8000km = 4800mi

first off liquid, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

NOW, WE down here....in the US....for the most part if you use regular oils and not synthetics....most of use change the oil AND the filter every 3000 miles (5000 Km)....regardless of what the manual says....its cheep insurance.
