oil pan removal?

anyone else ever tried to remove it to replace the seal im leaking oil and im pretty sure its from there. ive take out the 12 bolts and it doesn't want to come out at all. any ideas?

the rtv they use to seal the oil pan holds it on there pretty good, i was tearing at my oil pan for a good hour until i could get it off

Try tapping on the side of the pan with a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer. Don't hit it too hard or it might get dented...

There is a place once the bolts are off that a pry bar can be used

Apply force gradually and it will start to peel off
