Oil loss prevention

Original MSP owner here, had it since 03. At one time I was seeing a little oil consumption, but I've been running crankvents for several years now and I lose little to no oil between oil changes. Not, sure who, but there were a few other folks on here that were using them also. The pcv system on our cars is not great and really seemed to benefit from the extra help.

I read the thread on the Doc B oil system. So, pretty much it is just cleaning and rebuilding your oil pump and adding some type of bypass valve where you can control the oil psi??? Also, how hard of a turn would you have to be in for the engine to be starved of oil? and If I were to rebuild my motor, is this issue still a problem? What if you upgrade to the AWR deep sump oil pan?

I have that oil pan on my engine right now. Truthfully I'm a little dissapointed in the quality of some of the welding. There are places where oil seeps through the welds. Also, I'm using the AWR front and rear engine mounts. With those mounts, the oil pan is only a few millimeters from touching the passenger side lower control arm mounting. Kinda scary. I'm sure it does it's job, but just saying the quality and fitment could have been better.

I've got 150,000 km's on my MSP with 10-15000 km OCI's with Amsoil SSO 0w-30 and I don't burn any oil at all. I don't have to put in a drop untill oil change. Just make sure you change your pvc when you change your spark plugs and you shouldn't have any issues. (as long as the rest of your engine is in good shape. compression, rings, proper oil changes etc...)
