if you read any reputable oil analysis forums you'll quickly find out that royal purple's shearing is so bad that it's in no way shape or form worth the $7-8 they want for it and I wouldn't use it in my engine even if it was free! Not to mention the fact that it basically clogs up your oil passages over time becuase of the amount of calcium and other mineral content it has.
mobile 1 or Penzoil Platinum are the best choices.
