Got home from the gym just now and saw THIS!!!!

Looks like someone with a truck backed into me. I don't know if it happened at work or at the gym but I'm BS!!!

Yeah it does look like a tow hitch imprint. Man how unlucky sorry to hear about that. I got a nasty ding in my door a few weeks ago. Its big too . . . like someone took a baseball and threw it at my door. MAN I WAS PISSED

Yes it does. I'm going to look around the PL tonight at work and see what I can see. It more than likely happened there and not at the gym. I work midnights so I have plenty of time to scout the lot and see who has a small truck with a hutch.

That sucks. definitely a tow ball. However, I've had that happen to one of my cars before, and it's useless trying to figure out who did it. Like a needle in a haystack. Probably will make yourself crazy if you pursue it too long.

Insurance! Dont know insurance laws in NH but here in MI I would do the comp claim instead of finding the culpret. My comp deductible is 250. It another car is involved it is 500.

doesnt have to be a truck... lots of cars have hitches too. Maybe take a mesuring tape, and see how high it is off the ground.

Edit:

Not like you are accually going to get anything even if you find the guy. Other then maybe a little revenge. Its still going to come out of your pocket, unless to intimidate the guy into giveing you cash.

Yeah I'm not going to drive myself too crazy over it but if I find the car tonight I'm leaving a not on the car. They will know that I know. The mental advantage over someone who knows you know their vehicle and plate number is something far greater than physical revenge.

Plus I just saw this 30 minutes ago, blew up, took pics, and posted it on here... I'll calm down and deal with it in a day or so.

something similar happened to me several years ago. came back to find that some large white vehicle scraped and pushed the rear quarter panel of my Civic; of course, no note and there's no way they could not have known what they did. I called the police and filed a report. When it came time to call my insurance co., they reduced my deductable by 50% since it was considered 'hit and run'. something to consider if you plan to run it through your insurance co.

I actually wish I knew if it happened at work or at the gym in my hometown. My girlfriend is a cop in where I live so it would be an easy process. I'll more than likely call my insurance and see what the deal is. Hopefully they let me throw in a little extra and I can get an Autoexe bumper.

Just have the collision shop split the dif with you. Insurance pays for OEM, you kick the rest down for the EXE.

Also, either way your girl can write the report. I would say it happened at the grocery store, not at your work or home!
