Oh HELL YEAH. Got the soft AWR bushings in!

The killer is that damn lower stud on the firewall for the wire holder. I HATE that damn thing!

I dont even wanna talk about that thing!!! i spent over an hr playing with it. I left mine off, so it shouldnt be to tough now... and i bent the stud out of the way for easier access.

Today we got some decent weather for a little.. I havent worked on my car since Dec. to damn cold.

Yeah that stud is the worst part. Nice weather today, huh? It's supposed to be 40 tomorrow at least.

We need a couple more people to get the bushings and try them. I'm damn happy with them, but I also had the hard bushings before. I'd like to hear what a person who has stocker going to the soft AWRs thinks. Some nice weather and my 4th Rota back would be nice too, I'd like to push the car.

did you email them or call them for the bushings.. i have been meaning to order them this week but never got around to it. Plus with the weather i dont plan to get to it for a few weeks anyways.

Paulmp3, I emailed them yesterday about ordering just the bushings and Tony emailed me back almost right away saying that they will be available for order on the webpage "tomorrow." I checked today (which is tomorrow) though and they still weren't there..........hopefully they'll be there Saturday or by Monday.

Anyway, just FYI you need to order 4 of them and they're 4.95 each. He gave me the exact part number if you need it - hopefully you won't because hopefully they'll be up on the webpage shortly. I'm getting them and currently have the stock mounts in so I'll let people know what I think of them.

hey guys im relatively new to mods and what not so what exactly is the cause of the wheel hop?...it has happened to me a bunch of times, especially if the grounds a little wet, and how much are the front and rear soft mounts?

sweet.. i will check up on the site tomorrow... i almost wanna order 8 and get some custom mounts made for the sides using the same bushings.

Paul, if you do side mounts you might want softer bushings. I have to pull my front mount back out and trim the bushing. It was very tight going in mount and looks squished. I'm hoping that it'll help a little bit.

Arg! Has anybody else checked the site lately? I've been checking it every day and the soft bushings are still not on it. Even if you search for the part number. I emailed Tony on Monday the 9th asking him what the deal was but he hasn't responded.

my softer bushings just came in today. there is a noticible difference between the hard and the soft ones. i will be putting in the front ones in tom. also i have not even installed the rear mount before due to the vibrations. so hopefully the vibrations will be less.

Did you get these in Prospeed?

I haven't heard anything from Tony in 2 weeks and I was having trouble ordering with his website....but I tried ordering with the Mozilla web browser instead of Explorer and it went through fine. I only needed the soft bushings since I already have a set of mounts....but I flat out couldn't wait any longer and just ordered the full A/T mounts. Can't wait for them to arrive.

my bushing came a couple of days ago. i only did the front mount yesterday. you should of just called him and saved on buying a new set of mounts.

as for the vibrations is slightly better but i did notice something wrong with my apex dp.the cat is resting against a bolt on the bottom of the motor. it might be adding extra vibrations. i will be fixing it on monday so i will let you know if it gets better but as now its not that great.

How did yours fit in the front mount? I trimmed my bushings so they'd fit without having to beat the mount back in place. Helped out BIG time with the vibration, but mine were majorly squished into the mount.

Oh, and I think the main cause of the vibration in mine is the clutch chatter. It's horrible, but I don't have the time to bring it in. Would be nice to get a MSP flywheel in.

mine fit in perfect. no need for trimming. also my exhaust is hung pretty tight with not alot of movement which could cause more vibration. it does seem to get better in time. i will wait and see.

So what is the best way to get these? Web or phone or email?
What is the website, what is the phone number, what is the email?

Sounds very cool. . .the rear is a definite filling loosener!
