Diane - thnx for the tip, BUT I went to my mazda dealership today, and they have a full in house body shop, and said they'd do it all there. I don't have my heart set on getting it done there, BUT...the estimated price is about $2100.

LOL@ line from pulp fiction. :D

what dealership did you go to?

Thought you'd like that modded movie line...

Any way it goes, a referral is always the best way 2 go...good luck to ya babes...

My condolences to your unfortunate hit and run. I shudder to think that might happen to my car. thankfully, i garage it every night.

that's good, but remember to park as far away from people in parking lots...

I love it when I go somewhere and find a "glory spot" (single space with curbs on each side).

Diane,
of that you can be certain. I park in end spots and far away from knuckleheads who do give a rats a** about there inordinately large doors bangin others.

Yeah, I always park in the middle of nowhere, BUT, in my apartment complex, we have assigned spots.

Anyway, UPDATE:

I got a check for $2,100+ from my neighbor today. I deposited it in the bank...I'll wait a few days for it to clear.

Anyway, I then went to the Police station and picked up the accident report...it says the driver of the vehicle was my NEIGHBOR...even though he said it was "his friend" that he barely knew. I suspected this, but took his word for it anyway, since I knew him and he didn't really have a reason to lie to me.

So anyway, I should have my car back in a few weeks...if everything goes as planned...

Cool

At lest he did the right thing .. Still the check needs to be cleard but thats cool though. So when are you going too get it done?

heh...everytime I see a person in a boat (anything larger than a Millennia) I salute them like this (usa) and say "AYE-AYE CAPTAIN!!! PERMISSION TO COME ABOARD SIR!!!" (rofl)
I try to make sure they see me....and if they are driving a limo they get a double salute. Strrrrrrretch limos are called "Admirals".
(lol)

ohhh....the games I play on the road to keep myself entertained...

Diane,
that's too funny. We do need to break the monotony when it comes to encountering frightening boatloads of bad drivers.

Ummm, yeah. :-D

So anyway, my doors started making funny noises, so I'm just gonna get the doors replaced now. $2800+

:-O

ohh my god! sorry you're having so many probs...:(

oh and, I didn't mean to hijack your thread...it was an accident...seriously...:D
