Official Perrin Thread

i don't know why mazda engineers decided to route our exhaust through Denver to get to DC, but the pipes go as follows (if i remember well enough, its been raining and I havent been working on the 'speed lately): Exhaust mani-turbo-s pipe-j pipe - mid pipe (with the 2 cats) - cat-back. The spipe and jpipe together are collectively the "downpipe"
This is correct.

Will Perrin's exhaust replace the Jpipe, or bolt to it and effectively make it a midpipe & catback replacement?
I believe this is what John had stated the first Perrin exhaust would be.

They make parts for turbo cars. By specializing in one section of the market, they can concentrate on similar cars & make superior products.

Update

Lightened crank pulley is in the works. I bet you are wondering how we will ever make that part since there is a pressed on geared tooth attached to the factory piece. Stay tuned.......we have a solution for everything.

I also have our Research and Design team attempting to come up with a no hassle solution to the relatively small intake and exist for the stock BOV. Trying to find a real world solution to the common "turkey" (turkey) complaint.

cheers
(cheers)

interested in fuel rail, pully, and if you guys decide to be real usefull and make a "S" pipe.then I will DEFINETLY buy that aswell.

HOW ABOUT A NEW INTAKE MANIFOLD?
TUBULAR EXHAUST MANIFOLD?

Is the pulley just lightened or is it underdrive?and since it's a crank pully is there going to be any problems with harmonic balance?

Check Perrin's site...their pulleys are just lightened, not underdriven. That's exactly the way I want it because UDPs mess with the accessories.
