Official P5 wheel thread.

do some wide 17's. 17x8.5 +30 mmmmmmm

hehe... i wish i could afford new rims... but i have some stock 17" mazda3 rims just collecting dust for about a year now under my house... maybe im in the wrong thread... but i'm debating between 215/40/17 or 205/45/17 i used the tire calculator and both come close to the stock 205/50/16 tire size so my speedometer wont be that off

18" Drags
This pic was just a test fit.

do they fit with the car on the ground? There's a pretty significant difference between fitment in clearance with the suspension in full droop, static with the car on the ground, and at full compression.

gotcha. Looked like the jack was still supporting the weight.

I'm lookin to get some wheels soon so i am ready when the snow melts. i have a local shop lookin for me and they sent me some pics and i was wondering what you guys think.
i have an 02 midnight blue pro5 that i just got three months ago it isn't lowered.
the wheels are FRD 168 they are 17x7 and will be in gunmetal grey

^^not my style. plus the car will look higher without a drop. msp rims look great imo, if you can find a set, they look better than that.

how deep is that lip? like the lip. but i would get it dropped the same time you put the rims on.

I really like the msp rims too but it would be really hard to find some where i live.

I'm not sure how deep the lip is i e-mailed him so i may find out monday.

What do you guys think about these? going on my midnight blue p5
17x7 with a 45mm offset (i shouldn't have any problems with a 45mm offset right? i'm not lowered, and would 205/45/17 work or would they rub?)
