anyone have eyelids on the CB? ive thought about getting them but seems like they only look good on red and black

can you show us some more angles on that? one of the reasons why i thought they looked best on red and black is because the colors are dark so they blend in with the paint better. as in they dont look like theyre attached, but actually part of the stock design. since cb is more on the light side, especially in the sun, you can see all the edges of the eyelids and it makes them look tacky IMO. no offense intended

MM Boost, how did you prep for painting? Did you sand at all or just spray over what was there already? Looking to do this myself so wanted to know.

yes, I sanded the area with fine grit sand paper, taped er off and sprayed. Came out super smooth. I am going to have the front end re-painted in the spring due to rock chips, and I am going to have it professionally painted, but I am going to do the upper grill back to factory color, but paint the emblem same color of the car, and keep the lower blacked out. Should look slick.

BTW, in case anyone MIGHT be interested, I will be posting my powdercoated blue ice explosion wheels for sale this weekend. I have got to sell these puppies FAST because I am getting married in 4 weeks and I have a lot of expenses to cover. I will be selling them for a SMOKING deal with brand new falken tires and OEM TPMS. If interested, let me know. Official thread will be posted saturday.
