I have the colors all written down somewhere... I could tell you the exact colors for that particular two pin... but at least I helped you narrow it down so you don't use one of the grey two pin ones .

I believe it does come out of the harness from the same spot where the the two O2 connections come out.. then obviously the speedo gear is on the top back side of the transmission as a solid connector with no lead.

hahahha.. that's a nice feature, but i'd like to keep track of my mileage... i remember speaking about the cable, but not it's existance on the wiring harness

I have the wiring diagrams and we can reference to your car or Phil's... I'm not really in a super big rush, but it's something minor that should easily be fixed (and get me closer to having a normal MTx car)

booya... car is good.. although there's a weird semi-burning smell coming from the engine bay... maybe i just suck at the shifting, so it's burning a little clutch?

nope.. i see where the cable is missing.. the alternator wiring harness i have is missing the plug for the speedo..
gotta find someone with a junked MTx that's willing to send me the wiring harness for the alternator, or at least the clip that connects to the speedometer sensor.

I have the MTx alternator harness, but the clip for the speedo sensor is cut off, so i need to find another clip... so i'm gonna post here and start looking at junkyards for the clip

It's probably one that is used elsewhere on the harness..

I should have an extra clip with some leads on it that will fit that sensor... let me look tonight and I'll let you know... then I can try and mail it up to you.

holy crap.. that'd be fantastic!
i was going to start looking at junkyards 'n stuff tonight... but if you have it, that'd be even better - junkyards suck for finding little parts.

I gotta go get my ECU reflashed with proper settings tonight - it keeps looking for my non-existant ABS and it's throwing some CEL for some reason.

As well.... Back-up lights don't work. the clip is plugged in, but it's not working.... I'm going to have to investigate that further, and I might have to install a switch for backing up.

The CEL might be from the lack of a speedo sensor as well. Don't worry about the "Re-Flash" just yet. We that thing running well first then worry about "ABS"
