Amy was running 225/45 Falken 451s with no problem and was lowered with Goldlines to boot.

Yep I sure was. I would still have them except I traded them for the slips, but now that I have another set of stocks that need tires, I will probably get another set.

has anyone run the fuzion ZRi's in a 225/45/17??? i'd like to get a set (damn those bitchs are cheap for the tire you get) but i really can't afford to buy a tire that is going to rub :(...

i really wanna run 225 45 16's on mine but i'd have to remove my fender, not just roll it... lol +42 offset pwnz me

i have fuzions at 225/45 and they only rub with a full load and i still i have to hit a big bump to mae em do that. i have the teins and i am runnin 7.5 in wide rims at 48mm offset. so ya might be ok. i havent rubbed enough to do anything to the tire and i rarely have more than one passenger

awesome, i basically never have more than myself in the car, and if i do i'm not doing anything to load the suspension very much, i think i might just go with the 215's anyway for ease of mind, plus they are like 10 bucks cheaper a tire, and my rims are only 7.0" wide, maybe when i get some 16x7.5 i'll get the 225's for racing... thanks for the input vampyre (thumb), much appreciated...

im running nexxon 3000 225/45 on stock rims with tien springs and Im fine no rubbing

Pirelli P-ZERO Nero M+S 225/45 ZR17 do not rub at all with the Speed OEM rims (RH) :) (fantastic tire btw)

falken fk-452 225/45/17 rub on my car...i'm lowered on goldline springs

I'm hoping 225/50-15's fit..(for auto-x) does anyone know if they will? I'd like to know before I buy the tires.

I'm using 215/50-17 Firestone SZ-50 tires with stock rims and suspension. I had to use a hammer in the RR wheel well (toward the rear of the car) where it was rubbing and a wire tie in the front wheel well to pull the plastic wheel well toward the motor. The tires must be purchased used (E-bay) 1/2 worn out or they will hit the front struts just below the plate that hold the coil spring. I do not think 225/50-15 will fit at all! Buy ONE used tire on E-bay and mount it (no need to balance it yet). Then put it on all four corners and check for fit. If it doesnt work, your only out 40 bucks or less.(ughdance)

why bother with 50 series 17s anyway?

I drive a lot of highway, 100 tire revs less per mile!(ughdance) (and it looks like I lowered the car 1/2 inch!)(omg)

Larger tires will require more gas. I don't understand why you are worried about tire revs? But the reason the car looks lowered is because the larger tire has reduced the tire gap between the fender.

That's what I have as my everyday tire on my OEM wheels.
No problemo.

I've got some Michelin's that are 225/45/17.
