i'm having some trouble .. okiee i probably posted this b4.. but it's agging me!! i have a 93 maxima.. and i also bought rims for it.. 17 giovanna kuji's the same kind like motegi mr7.. (seven spokes) .. now.. i was running 235/40s on my maxima and den i busted my timing chain .. there for i bought my wonderful protege.. yes sirs.. and i wanted to put my 17's which i bought for only 2 months onto the protege.. however it seems to me that it rubs in the back a lil and not int he front ( protege is stock height).. i'm wondering.. is it the offset of the rims?? or is it the tires? are they too wide? because it rubs in the back like 2 millimeters because it only shaves off a lil rubber on my tires. what is it? thanks...:'(

235

Don't take it from me, but that seems to wide for your car. Most guys throw 215's on and call it quits.

You shouldn't be running 235's on a 7" or 7.5" rim anyways. That's not good. P5 needs a 205/45 or 215/40. I'll have to check the offset to make sure you won't rub in the future.

Do you plan to lower it?

offset

would the offset also be a problem? i think it might be a 40 or a 45 off set.. would that be okay.. and i'll get some 205/45s??

lowering

yes i plan to lower.. and please.. do check the offset for me.. i don't wanna waste another thousand on rims. i'm planning on eibach or GC's .. which ever comes in first thanks ADR

I can't check the offset unless I know the brand and model of the wheel. Do you have a picture? Are the wheels on the car already? If not you can get the specs off the back of the wheel.

40 offset

i think onthe back of the rim.. it says 40 .. i'm not sure.. but please check.. If and i'm speakin hypothetical, if it was 40 +.. would i rub if i did GCs? thanks
