OEM screen/backup camera, options?

I recently leased a 2016 CX-5 sport which i'm happy with. Generally I'm not into tech or bells and whistles and I'm ok with the stock/basic radio so I didn't really look at any options (was also under pressure/rushed from outside circumstance). I'm seeing that the backup camera/screen option would have been pretty cheap if I had done it at the dealer.

Are there any easy OEM or after market alternatives that are reasonably priced or am I basically out of luck?

I've installed aftermarket cameras in a newer Mazda 3 and the new 16 CX-5. It's only a matter of splicing into 4 wires that are already in the screen/radio harness. Worst case scenario, the car isn't prepped for a camera and pins would have to be added.
A very simple install and you would only need to choose the style of camera you want (look, brand, price, etc)

This is what we use at work:

This is assuming that you have the mazda connect infotainment radio that has the large touch screen display. If not, the only other reasonably priced option would be to run the camera to a replacement rear view mirror that supports a camera input.

Unfortunately yeah, I don't have the infotainment radio with the large screen (the part of the option i care about), which was included in the rear camera option. Pretty weak on my part not to opt in for it as it's looking like it's not realistic to get it in after the purchase. It's a lease so I'll just deal with it until the lease is over. I'm looking at doing maybe a mounted iPad mini as an alternative but it may not be worth the hassle.

Thanks for the reply.
