OEM Audio Selector box

I have an '07 MS3 and I'm trying to install the selector box, so I can utilized the OEM Sirius setup as well as the aux input in the center console.

It's been pretty straightforward so far, but now I'm stuck... I'm trying to figure out where the aux input harness should be. I can trace it from the source (center console) to just beyond the gearshift. after that it gets kinda fuzzy. I'm afraid that I'll have to take out the lower have of the dash to finish tracing it. Is that the case, or should the other end just be tied up somewhere behind the stereo or glovebox?

I don't really want to take apart the rest of the dash, so if anyone has any ideas where this harness might be I'd really appreciate the info.

TIA!

Well one end of the ACI harness is in the center console storage bin, and the other end is plugged into the back of the HU. The mazda install instructions have you removing the dash strip, HU, and glovebox due to where they want it installed. Removing these pieces is very easy and should only take you a few minutes.

I have the pdf instructions from Mazda for this install. If you'd like them for reference then PM me with your e-mail. I'm not really sure why you need to trace where the wiring goes. You unplug the ACI from the stereo and plug it into the switch box, then plug the sirius into the switch box, then plug the switch box into the HU.

I just did that same install this past week. I found the AUX cable stuffed up at the top inside the dash. It will have grey foam around the harness. Hope that helps you find it.....took me about 20 minutes to find mine. :)
