I can go now. My car doesn't go into the shop til September 2nd. It's gonna look like crap but its better than nothing.

The reasons I go to Nopi are :
1. Meet Protege owners from across the country -- including some that arent on the boards.
2. Meet with some of my(and my bfs) sponsors in person. And possibly pick up some more.
3. See friends from other states from other car clubs/groups
4. Magazine cars in person.
Its not just j-bodies and civics. There is alot there if you just walk around and look. Most of the time the quality of the cars is above average for most car shows.
I will agree on the stripper comment tho --- they could cut back on that a bit.

well..ive been going to nopi since it started..and I have never been happy with it. I go all over the place at that show, Summerslam fest at Old Bridge was a much better show. Seriously, I could of had more fun playing Halo on my xbox..But, I can't deny the sponser thing..They do come to that waste of a show. BUT other protege owners? I have never seen any other proteges at the shows in the last 2 years..Aside from some shop's spicy 2k3 which was worked..but no more than say juan's from hiboost or the likes..it sucks you can't make it..but i hope you have a good time at nopi..dont let us sour the experience...so whats the deal..beerbaque at sleazeside or what?

How can you say there were no protege's? Besides the Ballistic ones ( i think this is the one u are referring to which isnt a 2k3 spicy) that are always there ... last year, there were at least 10-15 of them, most not on the boards.
With over 10,000 show cars there is always someting new to see.
I personally think the Etown shows suck. Its not about the car its about who you know in order to win anything ... plus, its the same damn cars that have been there for the past 4 years, and none of them have changed!

I can meet up on 287, it is a couple of minutes from my house so meeting up for the caravan is not a problem for me.

I was going to bring some munchies and stuff...anyone else feel free to bring the same! Also BYOB!
