well...it is getting close to the last weekend of the summer!
This should be starting in the park around 12ish..going on until ????

Just wanted to give a heads up and get the final head count. Just let me know if you are bringing any peeps.
I was going to bring some munchies and stuff...anyone else feel free to bring the same! Also BYOB!

As of now...this is the list i have. If i left anyone out, or have someone who is not going, just let me know!

not necessarily...i want to run this idea by you guys. would you consider consolidating the meet into the 1 meet..the kent, ct one on sept 6th? just and idea..plenty of room..grill's are there..and its an easy drive..let me know what you guys think.

yea its kent ct, probably 2 hours from nj..i know my house in new milford is a little under 2 hours for me to get to morristown. its an easy drive. but..it might be a little bit of a stretch for some..the reason i suggest it is because why not get the whole area in on one meet. it would be by far the biggest turn out of a protege meet..hopefully we'll top the foxboro meet..

Im heading from PA too. Im gonna goto mapquest and find the best way, or look at my atlas.

I didnt relize you are comming. Thats dedication. I would think of comming up but i have things to do on the 6th already scheduled. maybe next meet. I go up to VT often so maybe i could schedule it so i will stop on my way up for a meet.

OK...good news and bad news! (and answers to your final questions)

YES...there are grills for cooking. I was planning on bringin some food and water...so anyone else feel free to do the same.

Now the bad news...Since we did not have enough peeps to make a reservation, we are not allowed to have beer. I dont understand that one...but whatever.

Someone else asked about how long we would be there. I plan on getting there around noon. I have a feeling this will last more than an hour or two, so if you were to arrive around 2 or 3, that should be fine. I would not think people are coming from PA or CT only to stay for an hour or so. This should be an all day event!
Especially since we are BBQ'n and all that good stuff.

There is PLENTY to do there too. Bike trails, tennis, racquet ball, Volley ball, driving range, lake for swimming...all free of charge.

and plenty of twisty's!
