OBX turbo manifold

again, it depends on the configuration, u can have a t3/t4 turbo or a straight t3, or whatever.

Has anyone ever heard of or seen a msp running this manifold. And does it bolt on to a stock setup? Please forgive, I may have missed these answers in a previous conversation over these.

Well, regardless, pretty much any T3 is bigger, laggier, and will make more power than the stock turbo. You'd have to frankenstein one hell of a T3 for it not to be that way.

I have never heard of anyone running it.... I don't know if it's something they actually even made.

Regardless, you can expect it to be a pile of crap that won't hold up.

No... the thing is you can base it off product knowledge of the company and their horrible reputation for making cheap knock-off Asian sweatshop product that don't hold up.

Something like a turbo header should not be purchased by anyone but a top notch company with reputation of making high quality parts. Those things see tremendous amounts of abuse from heat.

Agreed.....but the choices for aftermarket Turbo Manifolds for Mazda Proteges are SOOO limited....almost nonexistant...

just make a suppost bracket and make sure you have a good flex plate in your exhaust with the obx. the design suits the price tag but unles you are making some state of the art protege it should not be too bad and it will allow you to mount the t3. it cant be worse than a stock msp manifold and people are going plenty fast with those. since the t3 will create less backpressure between the motor and the turbo than the stocker t25r it wont cork up the exhaust system as much and you should have plenty of top end flow.

it will fit the mazdaspeed i was thinking about trying it...but like someone else said just keep the stock mani around just incase.

someone on here HAS tried it with success. He used it on his mp3. If you search you can find his thread about his car. He said it was holding up...not sure if it still is.
