OBX Header - Sound obtrusive?

LOL holy s*** 85.00 for shipping no wonder its being sold for BO price that low. Wow man watch out for that kinda stuff shipping should only be around 30.00 that's how much it was to ship my RB system and I ordered it monday

WOW....

with both my set up and my friend's, it does not sound ricey at all - a nice deep tone/growl. that was a fear of mine too; if you have either the magnaflow or racing beat catback exhausts, you don't have to worry in the least.

hows the sound with the ms axleback. im starting to get pulled in into asking ken to order it for me, lol

oh I don't know if you want the ms axelback. A lot of people complain about massive dronage especially with the obx header and an intake...

I'd say save up and get a racing beat or magnaflow cat-back. You'll at least see some gains that way too (only like 3 hp though!)

i can vouch for this set up and its horrible on highway speeds. i have a ractive header, aem short intake and ms axleback and if i was keeping the car, id change exahust

Underdrive crank pulley is a nice addition to the header for the low end gain.
I second that, I had the OBX header, catless midpipe from Ken, and MagnaFlow cat back, and I put a UD pulley on it and... My God, it's Alive.... It's Alive... It's Alive!!!!!

damn, i love the way the car sounds now too, with the aem sri and ms axleback. this is going to come out to alot of money with new exhaust and headers.....

Damn guys...you're making me want to grab the udp's now too...I thought I had read that there were bad side effects of the pullies though. Time to search.

Oh, here's another question - do you need to jet coat the headers before you use them?

i LOVED the way my p5 sounded with the OBX header, MAM midpipe stock resonator.. and Ractive axleback..

I have a video..

let me find it..

eh.. its too big for the site.. but yeah.. I can email it to people if you want.

The unorthodox pulley from Ken at protegegarage.com is the same size, only alot lighter. I don't know of any problems that could occur from that. You might need to worry when you get one that is a smaller diameter. I haven't had any problems and I know of peeps on here who would say the same.

I do as well Nutari...have you already posted your setup?

Thanks bumpin...I could have sworn I saw bad feedback from pulleys. Must have been with the smaller diameter - thanks for the info.
