More torque at the low-end. Very noticeable in 1st and especially 2nd gears.02kllrb said:i heard a couple people didnt notice any gains from the UDP. how noticable are the gains, if any?
I second that, I had the OBX header, catless midpipe from Ken, and MagnaFlow cat back, and I put a UD pulley on it and... My God, it's Alive.... It's Alive... It's Alive!!!!!i12drivemyMP5 said:Underdrive crank pulley is a nice addition to the header for the low end gain.
The unorthodox pulley from Ken at protegegarage.com is the same size, only alot lighter. I don't know of any problems that could occur from that. You might need to worry when you get one that is a smaller diameter. I haven't had any problems and I know of peeps on here who would say the same.Watarski said:Damn guys...you're making me want to grab the udp's now too...I thought I had read that there were bad side effects of the pullies though. Time to search.
Oh, here's another question - do you need to jet coat the headers before you use them?
