with both my set up and my friend's, it does not sound ricey at all - a nice deep tone/growl. that was a fear of mine too; if you have either the magnaflow or racing beat catback exhausts, you don't have to worry in the least.
i can vouch for this set up and its horrible on highway speeds. i have a ractive header, aem short intake and ms axleback and if i was keeping the car, id change exahust
I second that, I had the OBX header, catless midpipe from Ken, and MagnaFlow cat back, and I put a UD pulley on it and... My God, it's Alive.... It's Alive... It's Alive!!!!!

The unorthodox pulley from Ken at protegegarage.com is the same size, only alot lighter. I don't know of any problems that could occur from that. You might need to worry when you get one that is a smaller diameter. I haven't had any problems and I know of peeps on here who would say the same.
