NX Express- basically sends nitrous or CO2 through intercooler. Opinions?

I think it works just mounting it in on our intercooler is the problem. How will it clear the hood?

nx, nos, zex,dei, edelbrock all make them..they are great..depends how much you wanna spray can add 60 hp..

It can help you gain Hp, by cooling the air mass...in reality you are not making extra hp, you are recouping your loss hp due to heat. Works great and definetely a most if you like to drag a lot with a top mounted intercooler set up.

would it be overkill to spray nitrous through it on the protege? Because I know a few people do Co2 but I'd want the nitrous if it's "safe".

Or is it better/safer just spraying nitrous straight into the intercooler before a race ?

nos wouldn't do anything if i have the correct understanding on an intercooler. all these kits do it cool the fins so when the air goes thorugh the intercooler it cools more. the nos would never touch the charged air if you spray it like this kit is designed

My only concern with a TMIC would be spraying CO2 under the hood (though it may or may not be an actual issue). Just wondering if there is potential to get residual in your intake... NO2 I guess would have the opposite effect(lol2)

Correct, you dont want CO2 into your intake...I use the NX set up and use it strickly to ensure that I dont send hot air into the intake...just as a safety net.

i dont want to put nos on my car. i want to get an intercooler sprayer, to bring down my charged temps. this way i get rid of heat soak. i am trying to find the best way to do this. i like this http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10002_316666_-1 design the best. but i want to know what to put into the tank to spray.

thats putting nitrous on your car
and yes that is a great design..it covers the top, middle and bottom of intercooler
