nice system, my dad's got a system too (nowhere near as nice as that) but still sounds decent. He's got a pair of Martin Logan (can't remember model #) with Audio Research VT 1000 tube amp and SP16 preamp. Run with a Sony SCD-777ES Player.
My friends of the family has a pair of B&W Nautilus 801 driven by 2 Mark Levinson No. 333 Amps and Sony SCD multi CD player and I can't remember what preamp he is using to drive it all. I'm still a noob when it comes to home audio system but definitely can tell the differences. I just don't know the equipment too well yet.

No, it's not in someone's home it was actually a demo set-up for one of the annual shows up in San Fransisco, which I can't remember the name of, last year and yes it is actually just a stereo speaker system, and a damn big one at that.(thumb)
