im not sure about the MSP but i do know that BDC motorsports is running an FD with about 15 lbs of boost and no intercooler and is running meth injection safely.

that was my thought exactly hence why i posted" ::shakes head:: im at a loss for words"..i never realized people that "mod" there car would not understand what you have done..you must get a wicked throttle response and spool..after reading a few posts that are recent im glad to see others on here understand engine theory..thumbs up to you man.i also have a few questions for you what are your a/f's at 9 psi.your runnins 440's is that with the stock pump?are you maxing out your fuel trims?if not what are your fuel trim percents long and short?and with your opinion do u believe you could run a higher boost level?or if you are on the stock pump do u believe you could run more boost if you modded your fuel intake?any info would be great thanks.i plan on running meth very shortly and im new to msp.but not new to modding

I get a solid 12 +\- 0.3 AFR in boost to redline, stock fuel pump with 440cc, I do have a 255 pump but not installed because i have to drop the fuel tank (i dont have time). The stock fuel pump is more than enough to drive the 440cc. The max boost Ive seen spiked was around 12psi with no timing retard (that was retarded btw). I did recently the MAF delete, so im running with no MAF, NO o2 sensors, the car actually runing open loop so its easier to tune. I would not run more than 8psi with t3t4, well im kinda scared to run more than 7 LOL.. I know the rods are goin to give up first.. Even without detonation.

As for the removed intercooler, I knew the guy from PR runing his 600ish HP323 without intercooler, boosting 45psi, he said the air doesnt heats up that quick for drag purpose. I dont know if he got water injection though.

I run Water/Methanol and have been for quite some time. As long as you take care of the car, change your oil a little more frequently, and make sure you have appropriate safety measures. Water/Meth Injections is the best bang for the buck. Its also what lets most boosted suby owners run much larger turbo's without running a front mount.
Running a alky setup without an IC is very very very very common, especially on cars like 280zx turbo's that didnt have an intercooler in the firstplace.
