Noticed a "New" Feature with key fob.

Yup, if you scoured our forums, this is not a secret at all. If yours is sunroof-equipped, it will open the sunroof all the way as well.

Hmmm, personally, i don't really find it useful. On a hot summer day, yeah, I would want some fresh air coming in the car as I approach but not all the way because I would end up rolling it up once I'm inside.

I had just assumed it was one of those features not in the sport model. Admittedly, I am unlikely to need to cool off my car that way given where I live, but it's nice to have the option. I'll have to try it once it quits raining. I wish my sister's car had it in Florida. Eventually we put the windows up, but we'll usually drive around for a while with them down as it takes a while for the AC to get cool. I wouldn't mind a head start cooling the car. Of course, I'm probably over sensitive to heat.

Oops I did find that thread back in the forum, sorry for the double post. I really like this feature because after my classes where I park, my cars interior gets hot to the touch, so rolling down the windows before I get there and waiting for the A/C to catch up is really an asset to me.
Ditto; burnt hands from the interior being so hot sucks. I can attest that this works on the CX-7 sport as well. Does not work on my wife's 3s though. Oh well...

If you read the manual it's in there. Did you also know that if you have the advanced key you can hold the request switch on the driver's door and it will close your front windows and your sunroof.

Or you can just put the key in the drivers door and hold it turned in one direction. (one direction opens it and one closes it.)

I use it a lot actually.

I can see my car from my office window and on really hot days, I'll open the sunroof & windows just before I walk-out to the elevators. By the time I get there, the "really" hot air is gone, and I can breathe when I get in.

I just wish there were a way to REVERSE it - One afternoon, I opened my windows via remote, but got cornered by co-worker about a project - leaving my car out in parking-lot with windows & sunroof wide-open, unattended.

FYI - to the original poster - you can also CLOSE all your windows and sunroof from your driver's-side door outside within a few seconds of leaving car by holding-in the black requester button on the door handle.

I knew, I love it, use it quite a lot. As stated before it is in the owner's manual (as is a lot of useful information) I actually showed it to the "salesman" that sold me the car. My wife always laughs at me because of the research I do before hand and know more about the vehicle than the person selling it to me.

got it. i have to first press unlock and release, then press and hold unlock within a couple seconds and then it works. thanks. pretty cool feature. I guess we can't close the windows with the key fob however.

No it's a liability thing. But put the key in the lock and turn and hold it. One direction closes the windows and the other opens them.
