Hey guys and gals, new to the threads here, colberts the name and yeah I fell in love with the mazda protege speed after test driving the 2003.5 earlier today (sigh)

It is a used one at a nissan dealership :O and i think i can get them down to 24k canadian for it! it has about 8k on it so as soon as i get it in 2 weeks if they still have it "heres hoping" i'll be taking it in and i can get my friends old man to do all the detailing for me for practically free

But yeah i plan to be posting more soon, so all you cool cats take care and i'll update you peeps on if i get the car or not! (group)

Get them down to 21900 (most will got to 22500) - that's what i paid.

hey dude that better be 24K taxes and everything in... but even then thats still kinda high. to give you an idea i drove off with a brand new one in dec for $27K, you could actually prolly still get a brand new one right now for $25K. i wouldnt give the dealer anymore than $22K, good luck

DUDE!!! thank god you came on here... nobody wants the yellows so theres a huge number of them still brand new at the dealer. i know you can pick one up brand new for $22K everything in, theyre so desperate to give them away that its not funny, and besides the dealer is willing to let them go for way under cost since they get a free rx8 for every 2 msp's they sell

you seem to be a lil too excited, calm down and pull ur head outta ur ass and go make a great deal on a brand new one

I'll say what DZnutz said with a little tact. The car has dropped in price in new condition enough that it might be best to buy a new one at a slightly higher price. Check around at some dealers and patiently drive a hard bargain. You may really get a better deal than a used one in that price range.

yeah i went to a mazda dealership, and the salesman was a real ****** asshole man, like actually, he was goin on how he hasn't seen one, not available etc...

but yeah i live in BC, vancouver, does anyone else live close?

And maybe anyone who knows of a mazda dealership selling a new mazda speed in the general area would be greatly appreciated

almost all salesmen are assholes unless they smell cash on you... and if your young theyll completely ignore you unless you pull up in daddys bimmer

Bingo. Avante Mazda in Toronto had 4 yellow MSP's on the lot when i drove by last weekend.

damn I cant believe there are that many left. When I got mine last novemberish they were already getting hard to come by in the okanagan (got mine shipped in (rockon). I'm from kelowna... if your around there during the summer give me a shout and well go cruisin!

to bad you're in Vancouver dude. THere's a dealership here in Toronto that is giving away the new ones for like $23,000 CAN or so. Avante Mazda near Steels and Yonge street. They only have yellows left. Might be worthwhile to see about shipping it to VAncouver. Might still be cheaper, who knows.

no there wont be any fees... the dealer has to eat those, if they tell you otherwise tell em to blow it

23K is roughly 17K US, why u askin?

you could do that but you have more leway (sp?) if you go to your local dealer and tell them to get you one
