Noob Here! Any MX-3 Owners?

project mx3

Decided to start on project mx-3 today , so I (tried) to clean the engine to the best of my abilities , even tho it hailing and thundering like crazy !

lets start with the car as it is now: Its a AZ-3 1.5 dohc

I'm hoping to put on a veno design kitImage

and change the tail lights to black lexus lights
also I plan to get a paint job of either grey with an orange fade coming up or black with a dark blue fade coming up.

so far I've changed the dash from this

which include all new speakers, dvd player with 3" screen, standalone 7" flipout monitor and 500 gig media player.

I attempted my first engine clean today and heres how it went

My plans for the future include custom all leather interior, painted dash, new 17" or 19" alloys, carbon fiber hood and boot, and eventually
a 2.5 KLZE swap.
Its going to be a VERY long project, but I cant wait to finish .

I just recently got into a accident in my 95 5 speed RS 1.6 DOHC and other then the passenger door being smashed in she runs smooth like hockey ice! I just and I mean JUSt got a new half axle cv joint on drivers side and the best brake shoes I could for the back brakes. Also car has 2 Goodyear weatherhandler 185/65 14 with 90 % tread left. She just got a PA safety and emissons test like 2 days before the crash. Engine and tranny run great and car tracks straight Im most likely trading it in on saturday and most likely the car will be sold to a junker but contact me through here, I will check back constantly but you'd have to be close by as car is driveable but not very comfy over 40 mph! But Id rather see the car or parts live on and be used then to rust and go to waste in a yard

Yeah I now own a 93 GS!

I had a 95 RS be4 and loved it but the GS was what I always wanted so Im really excited, but it needs a lot of TLC and so it looks as though I will be broke from now on,lol. Any one looking to chat about this car cam PM here and chat through my AIM or email.

I've been around for a while, but I'm new to the MX-3 world. Picked up a non running KLZE swapped 93 GS over the weekend for $300. Just have to either rebuild or replace to get it back on the road. It should be a fun little car once it is rolling again.

I used to own a slightly modded MX-3 SE, now own a MS6.

I still can't get over the handling in a MX-3 though, might pick one up again someday.
