Don't know if this is the right area, if not sorry...

Anyway, I'll be purchasing a header soon (finally) and I started shopping for these spark-plug non-foulers. Seeing as we don't have an Autozone here, I went to the local Canadian Tire where they carry HELP! products but found no non-foulers. When I asked them if they ever had it or if they can order it they looked at me like I asked for a "flux-capacitor".

So if anyone who has used this on their header within the Toronto area please tell me where to get it, very much appreciated

Oh, and have any of you used this fix over the winter, and had problems keeping the same reading on both O2s (therefore a CEL)?

Thanks.

winter is rough for me in Rhode Island I throw CEL all the time but it turns itself off when it warms up.

Non foulers are only used on engines where the sparkplugs are constanly getting oil contamination, blowby from worn out rings....... all they do is keep the plugs contamination free and reasonably clean so they will work properly.I dont see why you need these things....Your description does not warrant the use the non foulers.

As I mentioned they are for the header...the non-foulers will NOT be used for the spark plugs but for the 2nd O2 sensor, as an alternative to the MIL wiring fix that's in the how-to section. Using the non-foulers on the 2nd O2 sensor will prevent a CEL from showing up when you've eliminated the primary cat, provided both are kept at the same temp. hence my winter question.

poboxjosh - So it keeps coming on eh? I guess the MIL fix should be better for us winter drivers... any comments on this?

I used the MIL with my CS exhaust and got a CEL once.
They work.
There's a "How To" to make your own for like a dollar.

Maybe you should read up before posting then....

CanMP5....here is the PN from another thread.

i just went and got the HELP! Spark plug non fouler. Part 42002 for 3.99 from autozone.
Its a 2 pack, that you screw together, and then screw the open end into the o2, and the other into the bung.
I'm going to be getting this done tomorrow.
This does require that you drill out the hole to allow for more flow to the o2, but thats pretty easy.

heres a pic of what i bought.

I got mine from Napa in Pickering. They had to think about what the part was for a bit, but they finally directed me to the right aisle.

I have had mine on since last Nov. with no CEL.

Thanks for the PN MikeR I'll take it back to the Canadian Tire and hopefully they'll be able to order them for me...

If not i'll try NAPA (forgot about them), there's a local one to me as well...

Thanks guys :)
