ok, Ill try to explain this the best i can.

2008.5 w/4995 miles bought in Feb 09. Only drive it on the weekends. Every once and awhile w/ the cluch out it seems to get "louder" I can always here the soft whurling sound when it is out. Twice now it has made a louder "whurling/rubbing" noise. both times sortly after heavy driving.

Could I just need to upgrade to a better clutch/brake fluid? Should I be worried? I would take it in, but it is very speratic.

Any input would help.

Thanks.

I don't really have a solution to your problem, but there's not much of a chance that it's caused by the quality of your fluid. Until you get into hardcore applications, with redonculous heat issues, Dot3 is Dot3.

Good luck to you, Fuzzy brows ;)

its the throwout bearing. they are loud on this car, not an issue though. you could buy an upgraded clutch and stuff if its that annoying

Not to worry...
It is normal for the transmission to make a fair amount of mechanical noise.

the pilot bearing? no, its the throwout. Its loud. its normal. it gets louder with an aftermarket clutch.
