did you clean under hood or something?
clean each plug holes or change your spark wires and plugs

it was def. the plugs. after they were changed my car fired right up. thanks for all the help and ideas everyone

If you are at stock boost the stock platinum plugs are way better than copper or colder plugs. Copper plugs wear out fast, and platinum last a long time. Plus, at stock boost the 6 heat range is perfect. If you plan on raising the boost then I would go with a 7 heat range (copper or iridium) to avoid detonation.

just checked the plugs. they are pretty black... mazda roadside assistance is on the way to my house in the next 60 min.
The black on the plug means that the car is running overly rich. A bad thing since the car always runs rich, has been made wrose with the colder heat range plug. Change the plugs back to stock and you shouldnt have any problems.

i dunno
my car runs beautifully.
i've had my last set of plugs in since april....12,000 miles....and they are almost perfectly clean.
