The black on the plug means that the car is running overly rich. A bad thing since the car always runs rich, has been made wrose with the colder heat range plug. Change the plugs back to stock and you shouldnt have any problems.beavis said:just checked the plugs. they are pretty black... mazda roadside assistance is on the way to my house in the next 60 min.
