No start need help

Question im not to sure on this one. Does our fuel pump turn on when the car is being started or does it come on when you put the key in. Cause mine only comes on when I attempt to start it.

I believe when you turn your key to run you should hear your pump and or it should kick in. You may not hear it from the cabin.

yea i pulled the back seats up and I only hear it when Im trying to start it. thats why i wanted to verify this before i replace it because it the last thing i can think of

Yea it's suppose to prime when you turn the accessories on for like 2 seconds...

dude im having that sasme problem but i dont hear the fuel pump crank at all and i even replaced it too and it still wont crank im thinking it could be the relay>>>>>where is the fuel relay i can find it in the fuse box....help????

For what it's worth, I have a device connected to the alarm system that kills the car. The chip is located just above my left knee. I thought it was stock but it seems it may not be. or maybe the 03's got but not 03.5. in any event when removed the car will not start, for some reason recently the chip came loose and the car would not start the car was stranded over night and was almost towed until I pressed the chip in while startying it on accident and it almost started. Then I just kept pressure on the chip and sure enough she started right up. Maybe you have one of thses on the car.
It's wired it like was put there from the factory

ill look into it tomarrow mornign and ill let you know what i see and if it works
