No More Manual Transmission in the 2019 Mazda3 Sedan?

I just checked my dealer's website. They have the specs up for the 2019 sedan but not yet for the 5-Door. In all trims, the transmission is listed as automatic but no manual option, although the top trim does have paddle shifters with the AT. This is terrible! I've never owned an AT in my life.

Yep, manual is only going to be available in the top trim hatchback. Kinda sucks. I really like the looks of the new 3, but no manual sedan, no more independent rear suspension, and the price went way up.

Simply do as I do: Get a Miata with manual transmission for no/little traffic conditions.
Get an auto sedan or hatch for higher traffic/longer trips/bad weather.

Your insurance will go down for each vehicle, since its odometer will advance more slowly.
You will have a backup vehicle.

Is that the AWD spec. Far as I've heard, we can't get AWD + manual up here in Canada (at least for 2019).
